and so it begins...

We are so excited to start a blog so our family in friends from nearby and across the world can keep up with our growing family. You will have to bear with us as we enter the world of blogging.

This is how it all began. 1745 days ago I met the man that would change my life. (This picture wasn't that exact day, but it was close)

Josh almost burned the house down on our first date. Lucky for him I have mad firefighting skills or we may not be here.

For 3 months we pretty much spent every waking minute together.

We later adopted our first "son" Ace who pretty much ruled our world. He has helped us get through some of the toughest times in our lives. Although we are about to receive the gift we have yearned for for so long, he will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Almost 2 years ago...721 days to be exact, but who's counting...I married my best friend.

Since then we have had some pretty awesome experiences...fun trips and adding another member to our growing family.
Chicago to watch the Bears beat the Seahawks in the playoffs. I will admit, the game would have been more fun if the Seahawks would have won because I would not have had to ride in the car with pouty pants for seven hours immediately after. I can't wait to do that again. Next time there will be a little man right next to us matching his mama. ;)

We just completed the k9 portion of our family. Our Molly Bear has added so much joy to our lives. We are so glad she and Ace have become best friends.
Matching our significant others was not planned, but it def shows great minds think alike.

Family Time in Washington. I wish we all lived closer so we could do this more often!!!!

All of these experiences bring us to the next chapter of our lives. I would never wish the pain and heartache we have experienced in getting here on anyone, but I am not sure that this would be so sweet without it.

Just 49 days until our lives will change forever! We can't wait for this little guy to grace us with his presence.
